Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second-half equaliser condemned Manchester United to their worst start to a league season in 30 years after being held to a draw by Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Aubameyang’s chip cancelled out Scott McTominay’s first-half strike after VAR overturned an offside decision.

Scotland international McTominay had made it 1-0 with a stunning strike from long range on the stroke of half-time.

Arsenal’s Bernd Leno made a crucial late save to deny Marcus Rashford.
